What's included:
- Initial Consultation: An in-depth discussion to understand the author's vision for their fictional world, including its setting, culture, history, geography, politics, technology, magic system, and any other relevant elements. An evaluation of the author's existing worldbuilding materials, such as maps, timelines, character profiles, and lore.
- Analysis and Feedback: Assessment of the coherence, consistency, and believability of the author's worldbuilding elements. Feedback on strengths and weaknesses in the worldbuilding, as well as suggestions for improvement and expansion.
- Customized Guidance: Tailored advice and recommendations based on the specific needs and goals of the author's story. Assistance with brainstorming ideas, resolving inconsistencies, and fleshing out underdeveloped aspects of the fictional world.
- Creation of Supporting Materials: Assistance with creating supplementary materials to enhance the author's worldbuilding, such as cultural guides, creature compendiums, and historical timelines.
- Integration with Storytelling: Exploration of how the fictional world can be seamlessly integrated into the author's narrative, characters, and plot. Guidance on using worldbuilding to enhance themes, conflicts, and character development in the story.
- Research and Inspiration: Recommendations for further research, reading, and inspiration to deepen the author's understanding of relevant topics and genres related to their fictional world.
- Follow-Up Support: Availability for follow-up questions, consultations, and additional support as the author continues to develop and refine their fictional world.
- Deliverables: A summary report outlining the key insights, recommendations, and action steps discussed during the worldbuilding consultation. Any additional materials or resources created during the consultation process, such as worldbuilding templates, reference guides, or brainstorming notes.
The base package is a two hour package that includes a 15-30 minute consultation with the remainder of the time filled with worldbuilding work. You may add extra hours, up to ten hours total, for a discounted hourly rate of $40.
